Description
The Parc del Poblenou is not only a large, emblematic park recently designed by the worldfamous French architect Jean Nouvel. It is also this new, very bright apartment in a block built in 2008 just a few metres off this park. Its communal swimmingpool set in a large green garden is a welcome luxury. Enjoying morning sun all over the place, and with all rooms giving onto a long balcony with sitting hammock, this 85 m2 flat with a classical touch is a very pleasant place to stay.
Located on the seventh floor (luckily with elevator), entiry accessible for wheelchair users, it includes a spacious living and dining room, a well-equipped separate kitchen and two bathrooms: one with bathtub and one with shower. The flat offers two bedrooms with wardrobe: the first one has a double bed while the second one includes a single bed and an extra bed.

The neighbourhood is interesting for being in an entire transformation process: on one hand the old Poblenou district, partially village-like but with its 19th century factories converting into of lofts and designers-offices; on the other hand the Forum area is the most innovative in the city, with its business area 22@, its congress centre CCIB and shopping centre Diagonal Mar, next to the seafront and beaches.
The tramwayline (stop Fluvia at 100m) will take you rapidly to the shopping and leisure centres Glories or Diagonal Mar. The Ciudadela Park and the central Plaza Catalunya (this last one connected by the red underground line) just takes a few minutes more.
