Mistura is a Spanish ice cream parlor that already has 5 stores in Madrid and even a home delivery option. The owners, Carlos Sotomayor and Carmelo Rodríguez, were inspired by a store during their trip to India, where they developed a very different way of mixing flavors and textures. All their products are handmade, without additives and low in fat and sugar. For all these reasons, it is an excellent option if you are looking for a healthy and refreshing dessert. In addition, they also offer lactose-free, vegetarian and vegan products.

You can also personalize your ice cream with a variety of toppings of different types of nuts, jams, fruits or chocolate.

La Romana

Address: Calle de San Bernardo 96, Paseo de la Habana 27, Calle Rosario Pino 6,

This ice cream parlor is 100% authentic Italian. Since the Zucchi family first opened its doors in the 1940s, the place has been winning customers all over Europe. Its success, among other things, is due to the use of fresh, high-quality ingredients.

The Zucchi family recipes have been part of their business for generations and today result in an incredible selection of over 70 different flavors, including Mascarpone with coffee, hazelnut cream with white chocolate or “grandma’s crunch“. The only problem will be being able to choose which flavor to go with.

Los Alpes

Address: C/ Arcipreste de Hita 6.

Los Alpes is a story of love and tradition. Founded in 1950 by an Italian and his Spanish wife, it is still run today by their grandchildren, who continue to maintain the original spirit of this traditional ice cream parlor that has become a true institution in the city of Madrid.

Located in the Moncloa neighborhood, Los Alpes offers more than 80 different flavors of ice cream made with the best ingredients, such as lemons from Murcia or pistachios from Sicily. Our favorite flavors are blueberry, rice pudding or their famous egg yolk ice cream. You can’t miss their homemade horchata either!

Rocambolesc

Address: C/ Serrano 52 (El Corte Inglés), Plaza de San Miguel 5 (Mercado de San Miguel).

Rocambolesc is an ice cream shop created by the famous chef Jordi Roca and his wife, Mexican pastry chef Alejandra Rivas, in 2012. Since they first opened in the centre of Girona, now they are the owners of several ice cream parlours throughout all of Spain. This is much more than an ice cream shop, it is a laboratory of flavours, colours and mixtures in the style of Willy Wonka itself.

Enjoy their exquisite creations, like coconut sorbet with violet or their famous panet: a brioche filled with ice cream. Besides, you can also choose among up to 32 exquisite toppings.

For the final touch, they create special products based on different festivities or trends, like the exclusive collection, based on Stranger Things that they released last year.
