Sitges

Sitges

One of the greatest things about Barcelona is its geographical position in the middle of a network of lovely small cities. If at some point of your summer holidays you feel like having a short break from big city life, you will have the opportunity for a day trip to such wonderful places as Girona, Tarragona, or Sitges. On top of that, you have lots of beautiful coastal towns around Barcelona where you can enjoy the sun and the sea to the fullest. While there are many great places on the shore that are very close to Barcelona, if you want to find quieter spots you will probably need to go a little bit further north to the Costa Brava coves. But no matter which one you choose, you can be sure that summer in Barcelona will be a wonderful experience.
