Record a short film and win € 3.000 with Aspasios

Do you like cinema? Would you like to create your own story in a nice and cosy place? Aspasios gives you the opportunity to do so and you can also earn €3,000. “Welcome to Barcelona” is the theme of this short film competition. The idea is that participants make a video of less than 1 minute and a half. The winner of the jury contest will get 3,000 euros. There will also be another prize awarded by the public. The prize consists of a free stay for two nights in one of our apartments in Barcelona, Madrid or Sitges. Participation is open until March 31, 2016 and all short films must be unpublished.

The theme of the competition is “Welcome to Barcelona” that can be recorded in one of our apartments and in any area of the city that you like. If you are from outside Barcelona but want to participate in the contest, you can stay in one of our apartments for free. For this purpose you should request it before February 15. Upon receipt of your registration you will assign an apartment, trying to adapt as much as possible to your availability.

What do you have to do to win?

When you are done your video send it to us in one of the formats accepted (MOV, MPEG4, AVI, WMV, MPEGPD, FLV, 3GPP, WebM) and we will publish it on our website.

A jury is composed of professionals of the audiovisual sector, such as Pol Turrents, director of photography and specialist in digital cinematography and Alex Ros, executive director of Aspasios. They will choose the best candidate, who will win 3,000 euros. Since there will also be a public voting where people can choose their favorite, encourage your friends to vote for your short and if it is chosen you will get a free stay in one of the apartments of Aspasios in Barcelona, Madrid or Sitges.
