1.The Magic Fountain of Montjuic

2.La Rambla

“It is the only street in the world which I wish would never end.”-the Spanish poet Federico García Lorca once said about La Rambla. It is the central most boulevard which cuts through the heart of the city centre.It starts at Plaza Catalunya and ends at the Columbs Monument at Port Vell (the old harbor) of Barcelona,which connects the old and modern city.

As you walk along,you will see landmarks such as the Virreina Palace,the Gran teatre del Liceu and the La Boqueria market.Other notable sights are the mosaic by Joan Miró and the Font de Canaletes which is a famous fountain and popular meeting point.

As you walk through La Rambla you would enjoy a walk though the history and life in Barcelona.

3.La Sagrada Família

The Sagrada Familia is the most visited tourist attraction in Barcelona.The construction of the church began in 1882 from a project by the architect Francisco de Paula del Villar.At the end of 1883 Gaudí was assigned to carry on the work.He did not abandon this task until his death in 1926.Since then the building of the church follows Gaudi´s original idea and the best techniques are applied to make the work safer,more comfortable and faster.

The church is located in the center of Barcelona and in the years it has become one of the most famous and most visited attractions in the city.The expiatory church is visited by millions of people every year and many more study its architectural and religious content.

4.Relax on Barceloneta beach

Barceloneta beach is one of the most visited and popular beaches in Barcelona.Moreover,it is the closest to the city center.Along the sandy beach runs a walkway which is a good opportunity for joggers and cyclist.There are plenty of things to do on the beach.Windsurfing and kite surfing are very popular.You can also enjoy a fresh drink from one of the beach bars.Or you can just lie down and enjoy the view of the Mediterranean sea and warmth of the Spanish sun!

5.Museo Picasso

Picasso always wanted his museum to be in Barcelona. Because he lived his key years here-those of apprenticeship as an artist. In 1963 the museum opened its doors in the gothic Palau Aguilar located at number 15 Carrer de Montcada. There are a lot of paintings, engravings,and drawing which he donated to the museum.The museum collection has many paintings from the Blue and the Rose periods.There are also many ceramics that Picasso  made that are also in the museum.
Pablo´s most famous paintings are not here ,but  you will see an extensive collection of his work when he was young right up to his Rose Period.
