Valentine’s Day in Barcelona: recipe for how to spend this day flawlessly

Valentine’s Day is a great occasion to express a sincere feeling of love and pay attention to your significant other, making a pleasant surprise. Our ideas on how to spend Valentine´s day in Barcelona marvelously are below.

Breakfast with fresh pastries

A frequent sunny winter morning in the kitchen of Aspasios Apartments. Aromatic coffee is brewed, which will become a worthy pair of freshly baked buns or puffs. Crispy, creamy, with a slight sourness! It seems that any day started with pastries is doomed to success.

Barcelona is undoubtedly a city of tapas as well as city of bakeries and dessert shops. All apartments at Aspasios are located in places with many urban points, so all you need to get a cherished bun or croissant for breakfast is just to go outside. Our personal recommendation – Canela Twist from @origobakery

Afternoon like Alice in Wonderland

Although Parc del Laberint d’Horta is one of Barcelona’s lesser-known beauties, it is charming. The ideal location to get lost in the enchanting green walls is unquestionably this lovely 19th-century most secret garden in Barcelona. It is situated on a slope of the Collserola hills and features a maze of cypress trees as well as ponds, fountains, and statues. Don’t forget to go if you’re visiting Barcelona for Valentine’s Day.

Evening at Bunkers del Carmel

The weather promises to be quite chilly, mostly cloudy with a little rain. Therefore, instead of our planned recommendation to end this day with a romantic picnic on the beach, we advise you to watch the setting sun at one of the best viewpoints in Barcelona Bunkers del Carmel.

The Bunkers del Carmel is a 360º viewpoint of the city located at the top of the Turó de la Rovira. You can take the metro to the Alfonso X stop to get there and start walking up. Indeed a great place to spend a romantic end of the day observing the entire city of Barcelona and watching the sunset with your soul mate.

And don’t forget to take memorable pictures! Discover even more places with amazing city views to take photos that will stay with you for a long time.
