  • Columbus Monument: scenes from All About My Mother and L’Auberge Spagnole (A House of Fools).
  • Plaça del Duc de Medinaceli: feel like Penelope Cruz in All About My Mother. 
  • Plaça de la Mercè: the birthplace of Grenuille, in The Perfume.
  • Plaça Reial: one of the most emblematic squares of the city, and shooting location of The Perfume and L’Auberge Spagnole.
  • Carrer Ferran: Grenuille and Grimal walk down this street together in The Perfume.
  • Plaça Sant Jaume: the film Manuale D’Amore held a wedding in the town hall building.
  • Plaça San Felip Neri: Another crime scene from The Perfume.
  • La Ribera / Plaça de Santa Maria del Mar: home to many of the romantic scenes in Vicky, Cristina, Barcelona.
  • Palau de la Música: this modernist building and World Heritage Site is right next to Agrado’s apartment in All About My Mother.
  • Laberint d’Horta: One of the most terrifying scenes of The Perfume was filmed in this beautiful park.
  • Palau Güell: It was in this building designed by Antoni Gaudí where in The Passenger, Jack Nicholson talks with Maria Schneider about the architect and the Güell family.
  • Tivoli Theater / Universitat de Econòmiques de Barcelona: These two spots are some settings of the movie Red Lights, starring Cillian Murphy, Robert de Niro and Sigourney Weaver.
  • Plaça Rius i Taulets: theis is one of the locations of Isabel Coixet’s Map of the Sounds of Tokyo.
