Caelis is the emblematic restaurant of the Hotel Palace in Barcelona. In 2010, after being closed for two years during the restoration of the Hotel Palace, Caelis restaurant reopens its doors on May 15 and so Barcelona has one of its best haute cuisine restaurants back.

Caelis restaurant is located in the Hotel Palace, the old Barcelona Ritz. Placed in such an emblematic space the restaurant still keeps the classic style that made it so famous in the past and combines elements of the original decor with a modern and minimalist touch in an exclusive atmosphere. The room’s interior design gives the space distinction and elegance and produces a unique atmosphere. Details are carefully looked after to offer customers an intimate and relaxed atmosphere. In its main room Caelis has a capacity for 50 guests. In addition to the main room, the restaurant has a discreet private room that can accommodate up to 12 guests, and a table in the kitchen (the “table du chef”), up to 6 people, to follow, in situ, and from a privileged perspective, the creation of all the restaurant’s dishes.

Leading the kitchen is still young Romain Fornell – he is the first French cook to win a Michelin star in Spain, with already one Michelin star in France. He offers spectacular seasonal cuisine influenced by the French haute cuisine with a modern Catalan touch.

Passion for the product, passion for innovation, passion to overcome new challenges, passion for our work. audacity. tradition. vanguard. instinct. balance. These are the foundations of their cuisine and together with their wine cellar with over 300 references, they have created their a la carte menu and the 2 tasting menus.

In short: Caelis offers exclusivity and gastronomic luxury in a unique setting in the centre of Barcelona!
