It is a lovely place to live among the locals. Gran Via is located on the Gran Via de las Cortes Catalanes, one of Barcelona's main arteries, with excellent connections. The Eixample district as well as the old city centre, which is nearby, can easily be reached on foot. Just in front of the apartment you can take the red underground line (stop Urgell), either to go in 4-5 minutes to Plaza Catalunya or to the fairground Plaza Espanya. The direct airport bus stops at only a few meters. Restaurants, bars, supermarkets and shops are all around.
