Bank hours are generally from 8:30 h to 14:00 h, though many change establishments, mainly around the Ramblas, have very flexible opening hours. Cash machines are widespread.

Tap water
The tap water in Barcelona is perfectly safe to drink, though not always tasty because of the chlorine. Bottled water is quite cheap and for sale all over the city.
