A great way to get to know the most important buildings, streets and squares of Spain without leaving Barcelona is visiting Poble Espanyol, a big space surrounded by walls offering 117 real-scale-replicas of the most beautiful places of the Peninsula.
In the village you will find a lot of museums, such as Fundación Fran Daurel, with more than 300 contemporary art pieces from more than 50 different artists, such as Picasso, Dali, Barcelo, Miro and Tapies.
During the tour it is common to meet some craftsmen that will share their ancient craft secrets and techniques with the visitors.
Adult fee is 9,50 € and child fee is 5,60 €; there are also family packs that can be checked at Poble Espanyol's website. You will also find their schedule and a list of the attractions and stores that you will meet.
