Le quartier Poble Sec se situe entre le port, le centre historique, face aux quartiers de Raval et San Antoni, la colline de Montjuic et la Plaza España et ses congrès. Poble Sec était le quartier des cabarets, aujourd´hui encore on peut ressentir cette ambiance à travers les nombreux théâtres de quartiers et de l´Avenue Parallel où il y a toujours de nombreuses œuvres classiques et contemporaines. Aujourd´hui c´est un quartier plein de bars branchés, de terrasses, de restaurants du monde entier, et de nombreux magasins. Au dessus se dresse la colline de Montjuic avec sa forteresse, la Fondation Miró, la MNAC, le musée Olympique, le Poble Español, et la Fondation Mies Van de Rohe. Vous y trouverez de nombreux évènements culturels et sportifs tout au long de l´année. En 5 minutes à pied, vous pouvez rejoindre le port, le monument Colomb, Las Ramblas et le centre commercial de Mare Magnum.
