I can’t explain it; fried squid rings on a plain white bread roll. Sounds pretty ordinary but they are sensational. Try the El Brillante bar just opposite the main entrance to the Museu Reina Sofia (where Picasso’s Guernika is kept). Cheap, cheery and delicious tapas. The kids will love it.
