St Patrick’s day is always celebrated in style in Barcelona and this year is no exception. If you want to have a fantastic time on St Patrick’s day then you should head down to the Guinness Laughter Lounge on 16 March where a special stand up night is being hosted.

The Irish themed event is being hosted by John Colleary, a famous and much loved comedian who regularly appears of Irish television. As well as biting satirical wit and hilarious impersonations you will also no doubt be treated to a little bit of River Dance and plenty of Irish humour. There will be loads packed in to the one hour stand up show and it is definitely not to be missed. The stand up show is taking place at La Riereta theater, Reina Amalia 3 and there is a bar service available.
If you want to continue celebrations right through the weekend you could also head down to the much loved Flaherty’s Irish Bar on Plaza Joaquim Xirau. A huge night is being held on 17 March in honour of St Patricks day. There will be a range of classic Irish dishes on offer as well as special promotions and even prizes to be won. If you want this year’s St Patrick’s day to go with a bang then either one of these fantastic events will ensure it does. If you really want to party hard then you should make sure you go to both.
