“Soap!”, The Musical in Madrid

If you enjoy cabaret style shows and musicals then don’t miss out on Soap! The Musical that is showing in Madrid until 2nd September. Bath tubs are the unusual backdrop to this dazzling production featuring opera, juggling, humour and plenty of choreography too.

Acrobats from the world famous Cirque du Soleil feature in the musical as do burlesque dancers and plenty of other circus-fusion performances from around the world. You’ll be amazed at how the bath tubs are used in this show to incorporate dance routines, acrobatics and other acts that make up with extraordinary show. It is directed by world renowned directors Markus Pabst and Maximilians Rambaek and has received some fantastic reviews and feedback so far.

As well as death defying trapeze and circus stunts there are plenty of laughs to be had during the show. It has already visited countless cities  on its tour around the world and Madrid is the latest city to welcome it. The show began on 28th July and will run until the beginning of September at the Teatro Caser Calderon. If you want to experience a truly thrilling and magical show then Soap! is not one to be missed.

Lady Gaga concert in Barcelona

Lady Gaga is ending the European leg of her World tour in Barcelona on 6th October. “The Born This Way Ball” is the name of the tour and has so far gone to Asia, New Zealand, Australia and is currently been shown around Europe. There are 29 European venues included in this particular leg of the tour and Barcelona is the last. Lady Gaga has sold around 23 million albums and 65 million singles across the world. She is one of the most successful artists around.

The concert is being held at the Palau Sant Jordi on the Montjuic moutain of Barcelona. This venue was originally build for the Olympics that were held in the city in 1992. Now it is the venue for the biggest concerts and sporting events that are held in the city. There is a lot to see and do in Barcelona and because of this it is one of the most popular short break and holiday destinations in Europe. There are beautiful beaches in Barcelona as well as a huge number of world class museums  and attractions.
