Santa Caterina is a homey and very well distributed apartment that offers a lively and cosy atmosphere. Its warm colours added to the comfortable furniture and excellent equipment make it great place to stay, right in the city centre of Barcelona at one minute from the impressive Santa Caterina market.
This 55 m2 apartment is set on the first floor of a nice and typically engraved building without elevator. A practical entry welcomes you where you can organize your belongings; it separates the living and sleeping area. The living area enjoys a small balcony that gives onto the quiet street and brings natural light. The fully equipped American kitchen offers excellent equipment. The spacious living disposes of a dining area by the kitchen and of a living area with two double sofa beds and complete TV equipment. The bedroom gives onto the back patio (no view) so that total tranquillity is guaranteed; it offers a double bed and a large cupboard. The very modern bathroom has a beautiful shower and large double sinks.

Santa Catarina is situated in a quiet street of the San Pere area, right in the city centre, where you will find several shops open until 12, a bakery, a general store owned by charming couple, art galleries and a dance centre just in front of the building. At the end of the street there is the charming Sant Pere square with excellent restaurants. Above it, you will find one of the most famous modernist monuments: the Palau de la Musica, inaugurated in 1908 and built by Domènech i Montaner. The general area is filled with fruit and vegetables shops, little cafes and bars, general stores and supermarkets. Two minutes away there is the fantastic Santa Caterina market, open everyday with excellent local products. Just in front the Santa Caterina market you will find the Cathedral square and the lively Gothic district. It is set in the Sant Pere area right by the Born district: a charming area full of elegant restaurants, fashion bars and delightful designers shops.
