Girona Atico is a marvellous and spacious duplex apartment, entirely refurbished in Summer 2008. The 90 m2 apartment combines original features, such as decorative ceilings and wooden doors and windows, with a style that is radically modern. True, its location without elevator on the sixth and seventh floor is not attractive, but it allows both incredible light and tranquility. The enormous terrace boasts amazing views of Tibidabo hill, the Mediterranean and the Barcelona roofscape. In the main stairwell, a wonderful floor of modernist tiles has been retained.

The interior reflects the owners’ distinctive modern taste in its bold colours and decorative style. The lower floor includes the spacious master bedroom with double bed, a single bedroom (with an extra bed) and an open atrium containing another single bed (another can be added). Upstairs there is a spectacular living and dining area with floor-to-ceiling doors and windows on three sides, an American kitchen and a bar. Each floor has its own full bathroom. The living room looks out onto a large, sunny, private, furnished terrace. An even larger rooftop terrace is at the rear.

Girona Atico is immediately adjacent to a similar one-bedroom apartment, Girona Central. A sliding door links the two.
