Aspasios Our staff
Aspasios, which means "welcome" in Greek, is a company created in 2005 to offer high standard apartment rentals in different areas in Barcelona and Madrid. We are specialised in renting luxury apartments on a short-term basis, from five nights till several months, focusing on expatriates, executives, business travellers and other demanding clients. We carefully select our apartments, but our strength lies in a thoughtful and professional customer service, always with a smile. Our staff has a multicultural background with experience in different industries, and knows what is essential to feel at home in a different city: they have lived the situation themselves, be it through trips or personal and professional experiences.
Aspasios' team is:
Ezequiel Salzberg. Partner and co-founder of Aspasios, director. He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in a family with Centro-European roots. At the age of seven his wider family moves to Barcelona, where he grows up and later on obtains a law degree. He also studies a Master in Public Management as well as one in Business Administration at the renowned business school ESADE. His professional background is in operations in non-industrial organisations, both in the public and private sector.
Ann Sleebus. Partner and co-founder of Aspasios, Web content manager. She was born and raised in Antwerp, Belgium. After studying Romance Philology and a Master in Media and Information Science at the University of Louvain, she first works at the marketing department of a Belgian touroperator. Afterwards she travels extensively through different continents, organising international medical congresses for the Dutch Akzo Nobel company. After backpacking for a year through Latin-America, she ends up in Barcelona, the cradle of her love for the Mediterranean. Ann has also been working as an official guide for Catalonia.
Julieta Calvi, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Two years ago she came to Barcelona and she is the commercial assistant at Aspasios. Julieta obtains a postgraduate in Cultural tourism and a Master in Cultural management at the University of Barcelona. She has former professional experience in the tourism industry, having worked as a tourist guide and travel agent in several cities in Argentina. She likes high-risk sports and adores traveling, ballet and opera. She speaks English, Spanish, German, Portuguese and French.
Carol Dölling, born in Germany, lives and works in Norway for many years after having started his carreer in Germany. Now he offers his services in Barcelona, as the head of Aspasios’ Maintenance Department. His knowledge and experience, his common sense and his handiness make sure all our apartments are in good shape.
Olga Molina, born in Barcelona. Head of the administration and accounting department. With a degree in Economics from the University of Barcelona, she has always worked for service providers, both in the public and the private sector, where she meets Ezequiel. She loves a good walk to relax, and other hobbies are handicrafts, literature and theatre.
Silvana Ramos was born in Santiago de Chile and has been living in Spain since 1999. She has a degree in Art and studied journalism. She has been working in the real estate sector for several years, specialising in comprehensive counseling to expatriates, both in relocation management companies and in real estate agencies. Silvana is a proactive and resourceful person who makes sure to offer a personalised service to every client. She speaks Spanish and is fluent in English. At Aspasios she is the head of the long-term rental department.
Marlies Rocher Bongaertz, born in Barcelona to a Catalan father and Dutch mother is our operations coordinator. As she emigrated as a child with her family from Venlo (Holland) to Barcelona, Marlies hase a global vision and knowledge of both cultures. She obtains a Graduate in Tourism and is fluent in several languages. Besides, she loves team sports, and specially volleyball.
Adriana Rodriguez is our Marketing and Sales Manager. As a Mexican with a British mother, she moves to France to continue her studies in Philology and Legal Translation in Paris and Rennes. She spends most of her professional life working in the field of translation and interpretation in Mexico and in France, where she lives over 15 years. She emigrates to Spain in 2007 searching for the Mediterranean climate and new opportunities, and she chooses Barcelona as her landing basis. Before joining Aspasios' team professionally, Adriana was our client.
Diana Vaskane, born in Salacgriva (Latvia), joined the company in 2010 as a Finance Department Assistant. She has a degree in Business Administration and Finances which she obtained at the Business School Turība in Riga. Her professional background is related to Marketing and International Relations. In 2009 Diana moved to Barcelona with her family to go for new personal and professional challenges and enjoy the dynamic atmosphere of the metropolitan city. Her hobbies are travelling, beauty and literature.
Fraukje van Boheemen has been in Spain and in the real estate sector since 2001, although born and raised in Maastricht (the Netherlands). She has studied International Business Administration and speaks various languages, and she is now taking care of the expansion of Aspasios in Madrid. Known to everyone as Frau, because of the somewhat difficult pronounciation of her name, she loves playing racket ball and traveling to new and exciting destinations.
Lycke Veenendaal was born and raised in Holland. She is creative and dynamic, and is Aspasios' "face". She is the one who manages the quality control in the apartments and much more and who, above all, will welcome you at your arrival at your Barcelona apartment, always with a smile.
